The management team are not the nicest, it gets worse the higher up you are. They don’t hire new people as they rely on the staff we already have to cover all the shifts which is impossible as they have school/college. They only train certain people on how to do tasks so again unfair as the same people have to do the more difficult stuff more often.

Well, that's a final goodbye to M&S. For far too long, I was caught in a corporate hamster wheel where lofty slogans masked an environment more about checking boxes than nurturing genuine talent. The endless red tape, rigid bureaucracy, and a management style that treated people as mere cogs in a profit machine have finally run their course on me.
No more empty promises of growth or teamwork that dissolve the moment real challenges appear. I’m done with an atmosphere that prized cost-cutting over real care, where creativity was stifled by an incessant focus on numbers and policies. Instead, I'm choosing a path that celebrates individuality and honest work.
So here's to stepping away from the stale charade of M&S—a farewell to a workplace that never truly valued the human spirit.
