    The team, the other people within the Safeguarding social work team, admin and other social care workers are all incredibly well informed and kind. Its a real family feeling, with colleagues who are so very lovely, it makes it the only reason you stay in the end. I also like the variety of the work.

    Worst thing

    There is SO MUCH PAPER WORK. Considering how incredibly busy the field is, they seem to enjoy you duplicating work. The system (Mosaic) is useless, constantly freezing or being updated at the most in opportune times, and it makes everything come to a stop which management don't seem to understand and so just keep on insisting that the work has to be done. They are under pressure too, but when other departments gate keep on the work they receive, and yet we can't demand that they take on things in their specialty, such as kinship team, it seems very imbalanced and puts more pressure on the safeguarding team.
    Often when you complain or say your case load is too high for your skill level or even nationally recognised as safe caseload number, they don't do anything about it, reduce your case holdings or offer support. Nothing.
