What employees are saying about Lakeland
-
Best thing
The colleagues and how well the company looks after you
Worst thing
Occasionally not receiving enough stock which leads to irritated customers

Best thing
Discounts and paid sick leave.
Worst thing
Underpaid. Management don't know how to do basic work. The whole company is out of touch. To many managers that haven't got a clue. Work schedule isn't flexible but they randomly decide to close when it's not busy and you either have to work a different shift or use holiday. If you want time off then you have to use holiday if that's not available you have to swap shifts with someone else. If you are on lates you are not allowed to take holiday at all even if you need just a day off and if you are due in on a weekend you are also not allowed holiday even when it's not peak. You aren't allowed holiday during peak periods. Basically you are just a number that they don't care about. If you have an appointment and it falls on a late shift your best bet is to literally call in sick.
