Best thing
25% Staff Discount, sometimes lovely customers, 1 hour break (unpaid, though), it is close to where I live.
Worst thing
Everything else. Every branch I worked, a management is the issue. In my recent one, managers with staff keep standing around and talking for 10-30 min if not more, while watch others work and not relax. There’s also a lot of favouritism; so no matter how hard you try to be hardworking and nice and compassionate and outgoing, the favouritism over other workers is real and they can and they will group around you and make you feel terrible and stressed out by just talking behind your back, pick on little things & mistakes that they also manage to do but not manage to see it.
