  • Best thing

    Good colleagues

    Worst thing

Early starts, night shifts and working weekends

    9.8

    Home Office Employee, September 2023

  • Best thing

Reasonable amount of time off, usually easy enough to book annual leave, team-working, close to home

    Worst thing

Shift work, have to work bank holidays and weekends.
Will have to stay late, sometimes end up doing up to 20+ hour shifts if it’s a big case you’re involved in and only TOIL is given, no over time pay.
Several other downsides but serveral positives too.

    9.9

    Home Office Employee, August 2023

  • Best thing

Good pay and discounts etc. Good environment, no discrimination.

    Worst thing

Things are slow especially HR , can take a while for things to be done and even then they can still have issues

    9.0

    Home Office Employee, August 2023

  • Best thing

It’s a modern working environment, with managers that treat you like equals. People look out for one another and everyone is treated fairly and with respect. The work you do might not be the most desirable but the people you work with definitely are.

    Worst thing

Hybrid working. Miscommunications at times between departments. Promotion isn’t applied to people performing well, you have to complete a full application process.

    9.9

Home Office Admin officer, July 2023

  • Best thing

Some parts of my rota allow me to take advantage of certain things on my time off (e.g. being able to go to local attractions during the week when they are less busy).

    Worst thing

Night shifts. Some lack of transparency between upper management and those who their decisions will affect
