Worst thing
Job advert said tips included but it's not, underpaid wage, staff shortage, roaming chefs get paid 2x higher for same work, no chain of command, management is bad, head chef is either powerless or he doesn't care much expect his bonus, people leave from job, too much instructions at once, prep and service same time, dirty locker room and many more.

Best thing
The managers are fun to work with and understanding. The job isn’t hard and once you get the swing of it can be quite fun.
Worst thing
Notice for shift changes can be as short as ten minutes before you’re due to start. Owner of the pub didn’t even know who I was after I’d worked there nine months. Shifts I’ve worked regularly on rota have been taken away from me permanently with only a days notice. I have to pay to take a break - I only get breaks when I eat and I have to buy my food. After putting in hours to help clean before the reopening after lockdown #3, I was not paid or compensated in any way, nor was I given or offered shifts until a week after opening.

Worst thing

Best thing

Worst thing
Taking all tge credit i deserve, promises without delivering those things, not enough staff all the time, on purpose, managers trying to show you how to do your job from different departments although you were hires as a professional, and they call it micromanaging instead of bullying at work, taking all your credit and keeping an outstanding stress in a all kind of situations for apparently no reason which proves lack of experience in different areas
