Best thing
Once familiar with the role the majority of the job is fairly easy. Having your rota set until the day you leave can also be beneficial for planning your free time
Worst thing
My role is treated as the bottom of the totem pole. Communication from other teams is minimal despite our role being the first to interact with customers and problems. Management either don't care and the role is treated as a box ticking exercise or they care too much about the wrong things like trying to make the job a forced social club, prioritising making everyone on the team become best friends instead of running the team efficiently and treating it like a job
