What are retail and sales assistants saying about pay at Footlocker?

  • Best thing

The best things I would say are:
    1) the people you work with, I genuinely met the loveliest people ever.
    2) it’s an easy job if you hit target
    3) nothing complicated really I learnt almost everything and I by the time I left I was capable of doing anything.

    Worst thing

Worst things in my opinion are:
    1) not very flexible with shifts as sometimes you feel like you’re forced to do it even if something came up and you had to call in.
    2) the managers I worked with we’re alright but they were very very very pushy about everything which honestly affected my mental state a bit as it was very stressful.
    3) surprisingly enough, Footlocker pay system is the worst ever in my opinion, my wage for the last 2-3 months was very low as, I was missing loads of hours which then took about 3 more months to fix and get my money from them.

    Footlocker Sales assistant, December 2021

  • Best thing

Sometimes we get 50% off everything for a week as a staff appreciation week, but we don’t get discount on good things like Jordan’s, dunks, Yeezys etc

    Worst thing

Extremely bad management, really bad pay, you’ll be asked to do 5 things at once and are expected to do so much for so little pay it’s ridiculous
