The salary isn’t great for what you get and the management is pretty bad in terms of allowing people to get cover and doesn’t respect your side of the contract. I wouldn’t recommend this job mainly because it is a lot of cleaning and on your feet work with disrespectful customers and the management doesn’t help aid situations either. A lot of internal arguments within the company as well so it isn’t necessarily a professional environment that promotes growth.

Pretty flexible in terms of how you manage your day, could do outreach And get out the office plus the people are very nice in the centre

First aid training, able to work easily around school hours (however I am no longer in school)

The low pay, extreme hours (6am opening or 11pm close, with 5am-8am training every month), no communication between managers, breaks are often interrupted for cleaning/ first aid, unless it’s a smoke break (which many don’t need), difficult to book shifts as there’s many coworkers and few shifts that need cover

-Rotational Hours are 1hr on pool Half hour off pool.
-Shifts are VERY Short staffed: 3 people per normal shift 1 off pool so cleaning can get very draining alone.
-Main pool is under lifeguarded: only 1 lifeguard for a 450 sq/m pool.. gets very stressful guarding up to 50 people alone.

Management are extremely cliquey and have a shocking level of disregard for employment law and the companies polices. They also promote in a very discriminatory way based on age especially and gender. Therefore creating a very unhappy environment with demotivated employees
