Best thing
The staff are very relaxed easy to get on with. If you’re sick or have emergencies taking time off isn’t hard at all, you’ll most likely get it. Free pizza for those that with 6 hour shifts or more.
Worst thing
Although requesting time off is easy don’t expect to be paid. I had dislocated my ankle and was told I didn’t meet the requirements for sick pay, mind you doctors gave me recommended time off, this was the type of injury where you really can’t walk or stand for very long at all, and yet I’m being denied d sick pay. My manager didn’t help to push my case either she was quite judgemental and racist from the jump stereotyping dispite not knowing me at all. She’d make sly covert comments all shift thinking I wouldn’t notice. As a delivery driver please also note you’re expected to wash dishes, sweep the floor and mop. Spray down counters too. This is often not shown on the job description as they know it will deter people from the job. £9 to deliver pizza sometimes 3 at a time rich is part of the job so I didn’t mind but when you take slightly longer they’ll stress and start complaining if the customer calls you’re to blame. If the order is messed up despite them packing it you’re to blame. Overall the drivers have way more responsibility that isn’t worth £9/hr in my humble opinion.

Best thing
The friendliness of other employees
Worst thing
No breaks, it’s all spent cleaning, you don’t get to call in sick. They tell you to come in for an assessment so they can gauge how sick you are. Head office is just as bad.
The manager is almost punishing other people, now letting them take holidays. Calling you in on your day off asking to come in. Then when you don’t they are harsh and manipulate you into thinking you’re in the wrong.
Bad place. Don’t even give you any gloves to either combat the Heat of the oven or to keep the food hygienic.
They often use expired dough (only by a day so not like, super bad but still)
And you don’t even get free food on whilst your working. You have to pay for all your food. Granted it’s like £1 for wedges. But a crate of 6 big bags of wedges only costs them like 20odd pence. And they can’t give you a portion for free.
You’re sat making £20 pizzas for them to turn around and pay you £6.83

Worst thing
Stressful during busy days. A lot of people phone in sick so you’re understaffed most days

Best thing
Kind of work your hours around daily life. Delivery driver means you can drive independently and listen to music to get away from the stress
Worst thing
I was underpaid for my job role. Made to feel bad if you can't come in because of being sick. Holiday is hard to book. Was always made to work more hours than I was rota for
