What people are saying about sick pay at Costa Coffee

  • Best thing

I work with the best team of people and they're my second family

    Worst thing

High paced and stressful job, especially working at a drive thru. Customers are getting more demanding and rude all for the sake of a couple of coffees. Long hours take its toll and we only get 30 minute breaks but if its busy than its less as sometimes you'll get called off your break to help as we're also short staffed

  • Best thing

Free drinks on shift and 25% off any other time.

    Worst thing

Lack of training, toxic environment, head office not caring about how stressed you are with little staff, cutting hours down when you need them but making you work loads when they’re desperate. Not paid for breaks and only get 30 mins whether you’re doing a 6 hour shift or 12 hour one. Complaints are often told to you and you would get in trouble for them but positive praise from customers goes unnoticed and is never told to us. Nothing is ever explained and then you’re moaned at for asking. Just not a great place to work.

    Worst thing

Poor management, poor pay, short breaks.
