Best thing
The pay can be very rewarding if you put in the effort.
Worst thing
The stress that goes with wearing yourself out, the importance of high levels of concentration for long periods of time can also be mentally draining. People that can’t cope with either normally don’t make it in this business.

Best thing
The workshop is clean and tidy. And it’s warm. I like the brand. Good annual leave.
Worst thing
It’s all commission based with a Low basic salary. The commission is not completely in your hands to earn it because it’s all dependant on what work you are given and if nothing goes wrong. Not knowing if your going to make enough money to live each month. Not having any lunch breaks and working late to try and hit your target. Working saturdays for free. And no paid over time. Management that look down on you and don’t care what you have to say. Equipment that doesn’t work and makes your job harder to do. Having to pay to park at work. Being on your feet all day long.
