  • Best thing

    Asda Store assistant, July 2024

  • Best thing

The pay is pretty good, choosing your own break times, the other colleagues are nice

    Worst thing

Managers do not treat you well at all, will shout and embarrass you on the shop floor, will compare you to other colleagues and belittle you. They blame you for anything and everything and just don’t care. They will force you to come in when you are sick or just sack you on the spot, and there is not enough equipment at all.

  • Best thing

Night pay, even tho that’s not even decent anymore

    Worst thing

The managers, favouritism, section leaders, reducing hours, colleague/manager relationships

  • Best thing

The discount, colleagues are lovely. Easy to book holidays . Never have to worry about how many hours I work because everything is contracted.

    Worst thing

Customers can be rude. Managers are condescending, breaks are short. High pressure environment. Manager is unorganised and doesn’t communicate. Sick is not paid. Sometimes I don’t get my entire pay
