Best thing
It works for a student schedule, with evening + weekend shifts. Easy to learn the training. Encourages socialising and conversation skills. Can improve confidence.
Worst thing
(Specific to Antic) Bad communication between managers and staff and head office etc. managers are moved around different pubs at the top of a hat, the manager has to leave his post and tend to a different venue at any given moment, bar staff are only informed by supervisors prior to the fact. There is no communication from head office to bar staff about changes to the venue, opening hours changing etc. Bar staff are not really treated with the respect they deserve and are underpaid. There are great team members but without good communication from top down it feels a little disconnected.

Best thing
The team I used to work with, everyone has quit now though due to the bad conditions.
Worst thing
No sick pay, not enough pay in general as a supervisor although you have a lot of responsibility dealing with things. Short staffed shifts although it is already forecast to be busy due to football or other sports matches, local events or booked events in the events venue.
