A Customer Service Assistant provides assistance to customers, either in a physical store or in an office typically by answering questions, resolving issues, and handling complaints. They may also be responsible for processing orders and handling customer inquiries over the phone, email, or face-to-face.
How do I become a Customer Service Assistant?
To become a Customer Service Assistant, you typically need GCSEs and A'levels or equivalent. Employers will also prefer candidates with strong communication skills and the ability to handle challenging customer situations. Previous experience in a customer service-facing role will also be beneficial.

You'll receive training in customer service techniques, computer skills, and relevant software, however having the ability to relate and interact well with customers is the most important skill.
