What is the Minimum wage for 20 year olds in the UK?

The National Minimum Wage for 20-year-olds in the UK is currently £6.83

The current minimum wage for anyone aged 20 years old is £6.83 per hour. This will increase to £7.49 from April 1st 2023.

The minimum wage is exactly that, it's the minimum you should be getting paid. However, there are lots of employers who pay 20-year-olds the same as those over 23 (also known as the National Living Wage)

Employers such as Mitie, Caffè Nero & Tortilla all pay 20-year-olds the same as those over 23.

Use Breakroom to find a job that pays all ages fairly.
