What are the benefits of a zero hours contract?

Depending on your needs there are lots of benefits to a zero hours contract.

The main benefit is the flexibility that is offered by a zero hours. As it enables you to pick and choose when you work and it helps you fit work more easily around the rest of your life.

For example, students, parents and people who have other responsibilities can choose to work more than one job and have flexibility when they work.

As a student, you can be on a zero hour contract job in your home town and return to work when you are home during holidays. Another benefit is that if you are on a zero hours contract can leave a job without having to give any notice to your employer.
