Argos are raising their staff's minimum pay from £10.25 to £11.00 per hour and from £11.30 to £11.95 per hour in London from February 2023
Retailer Argos has announced they are increasing their minimum pay to £11 per hour from February 2023.
According to the Breakroom community, Argos is currently the 14th highest-rated technology retailer to work for in the UK, behind employers like Apple, Samsung and John Lewis.
The increase from £10.25 to £11 an hour is an increase of just over 7% and means they are now paying more than the Real Living Wage outside of London.
Argos currently has a Breakroom Rating of 6.7 with 72% of staff telling us they feel respected by managers and 88% of students saying it's a good place to work. However, 77% say that Argos don't pay breaks and the majority of staff get 2 weeks' notice or less for their shifts.
